Protecting institutions from fraud
ORION was created in response to the decommissioning of the Visa CRIS service, which monitored for fraudulent card activity.
The removal of CRIS meant that our clients were without a suitable fraud-monitoring program for their cards products.
In response to demand we expanded ORION in 2006 to offer institutions a complete Fraud Information Service.

How ORION helps your institution prevent fraud
- ORION monitors Visa transactions for suspicious activity.
- If suspicious activity is detected ORION may contact the cardholder to confirm the validity of the transactions.
- If the transactions cannot be verified ORION has the ability to place a temporary hold on the card while the case is investigated.
